Dear Madam,

You will remember that we had the opportunity to meet in 2006.

During that meeting, we introduced ourselves and asked a few questions concerning parental abductions within the EU, and regarding the surprising lack of efficiency of the conventions and European regulations, concerning the matter.

We had, too, spoken about the German cases: as you know, those cases seem to be irresolvable, for reasons which are not clear to us.

You assured us that, after a thorough checking of the problematic, you would come back to us, in order to answer our questions.

Later on, we wrote to you, specifically in order to understand the position of  a person called, in Germany, the “Verfahrenspfleger”. We mentioned specifically a certain solicitor, by the name of Ellen Ernst, from the court of Frankfurt.

As we told you then, some other associations – German associations, among other – were wondering about the exact job of that Mrs Ernt.

It is, indeed, public knowledge that the presence of Mrs Ernst, in cases of abduction of children to Germany, or in cases of refusal of presentation of a child towards his/her foreign or German parent, leads invariably to the protection of the abducting parent. The role of Mrs Ernst as the defender of the child remains obscure.

Three years later, we take note that we did not receive any answer from you.

We would be delighted, still, if you collected all the information concerning the specific files we mentioned in the course of our meeting, or later in our letters, and if you gave us your answer. We would, indeed, be delighted to receive your answer.
